BATGuard™ Test Results
The BATGuard™ does not neutralize chlorine. If you are cleaning with chlorine and there is no way to pool the water to neutralize naturally, you can put vitamin C powder in front of the BATGuard and check with test strips to ensure the runoff has been neutralized. This is recommended by the US Forest Service for neutralizing chlorine when cleaning algae-filled water tanks or other structures and has been deemed safe for fish if adequately neutralized. There are many ways to neutralize chlorine; search "how to neutralize chlorine" online.
